Where to Find the Crypt Key

The Crypt Key is in Desolate Peak, a ruined area in the western reaches of the Fainweald region. It is sitting on a table inside the only building on the small island, just across from Baghead’s throne. One video guide also describes the location as being next to the Gloomshade Grove beacon.

1. From the Citadel of Penance, follow the sloping path down to the lower cliffside section.
2. Continue past the Bloodcrused Lithopod miniboss fight until you see an archway that serves as a jump-off point.
3. Drop down to Desolate Peak and look for the ruined building next to Baghead’s throne.
4. Go inside and pick up the Crypt Key from the wooden table. It is next to a few coins.

How to Use the Crypt Key

After grabbing the key, travel to Eastern Fainweald. The locked Hall of Echoes door is north of the Grisha Hunting Grounds and south of the Stones of Remembrance.
